About Aurasea
We're headquartered in Bangkok, with active operations in Nakhon Ratchasima where Crystal Resort and our cafe serve as Aurasea's design partners.
The Founder's Story
Bovorn Vichiansin began his academic journey in Electrical Engineering before pursuing graduate studies in Economics and Finance, ultimately earning his PhD.
His career took him through global organizations — at the World Bank in Washington DC, then Deloitte Consulting and Merrill Lynch (Bank of America) in New York City, working in both the hedge fund and wealth management businesses.
Returning to Thailand, he became a professor in Chulalongkorn University's Master of Financial Engineering program while overseeing Crystal Resort & Cafe (81 rooms).
In running his own businesses, he saw a clear gap — the sophisticated tools available to large enterprises were inaccessible to typical SMBs. Aurasea was born to close that gap.
Our Mission
We believe Thai small business owners deserve world-class tools — not enterprise software stripped down for them.
We build products that start from a genuine understanding of small businesses in this region — how they operate, how they communicate, and the unique challenges they face.
Why 'Aurasea'
Aurasea combines 'aura' (radiance) and 'sea' (ocean) — the radiance of light guiding through the vast ocean of business complexity.
It reflects what we do — illuminating what matters most each day, so business owners can navigate with confidence.

Where We're Based
Headquarters: Bangkok — where our business operations, partnership conversations, and Chula MFE academic affiliations are based.
Operations: Nakhon Ratchasima — where Crystal Resort and our cafe operate as Aurasea's design partners and dogfooding environments. Every feature ships first to production at these locations before reaching paying customers.
This dual presence is intentional. Bangkok gives us access to Thailand's tech ecosystem, talent pool, and partnership networks. Nakhon Ratchasima gives us direct, daily exposure to the operational realities of running real SMBs — which keeps our product honest.
